Nous espérons que le Chalet de Valmorel et la station de Valmorel seront ouverts comme prévu le 18 décembre 2020. Cependant, la pandémie de Covid-19 en cours pourrait avoir un impact sur cette saison et sur le reste de la saison 20/21.

Pour vous donner la confiance nécessaire pour réserver votre séjour à Valmorel nous avons modifié notre procédure de réservation:

1) Pour faire une réservation, nous demanderons un acompte initial de seulement 10%

2) Le solde dû sera payable 4 semaines avant la date d’arrivée

3) Tout argent qui nous est versé à tout moment sera remboursé si nous devons annuler votre réservation en raison de la réglementation du gouvernement français.

Au sein du chalet-hôtel, nous prendrons toutes les mesures de santé et de sécurité pertinentes, notamment:

1) Le personnel du chalet-hôtel portera des masques à tout moment lorsqu’il sera en contact avec les clients. Il vous sera demandé de porter des masques à tout moment dans les parties communes lorsque cela est possible. Des masques jetables seront mis à disposition gratuitement

2) Toutes les surfaces, meubles et équipements seront traités régulièrement avec un désinfectant antiviral

3) Toutes les parties du chalet-hôtel seront diffusées plusieurs fois par jour

4) Du gel hydro-alcoolique sera disponible aux entrées et dans les espaces publics

5) Les tables / décors du restaurant et de la salle à manger seront aménagés pour donner de l’espace entre les différents groupes des clients. Cela peut nécessiter des heures de repas décalées pendant les semaines chargées

We are hoping that Chalet de Valmorel, and the resort of Valmorel, will be open as planned on December 18th 2020. However the on-going Covid-19 pandemic may have an impact on this and the rest of the 20/21 season.

To give you the confidence to book your stay at Valmorel we have modified our booking procedure:

1) To secure a booking we will require an initial deposit of only 10%

2) The remainder due will be payable 4 weeks before the arrival date

3) Any money paid to us as any time will be refunded if we have to cancel your booking because of French government regulations.  

Within the chalet-hotel we will be taking all relevant health and safety measures including:

1) Staff in the chalet-hotel will wear masks at all times when in contact with guests. Guests will be asked to wear masks at all times in public areas when possible. Disposable maks will be made available free of charge

2) All surfaces, furniture and equipment will be regulary treated with an anti-viral disenfectant

3) All parts of the chalet-hotel wil be aired several times a day

4) Hydro-alcoholic gel will be available at the entrances and througout the public areas

5) Tables/settings in the restuarant and dining-room will be arranged to give space between different groups of guests. This may mean staggering meal times in busy weeks

General Covid-19 information for skiers in France 

Skiing is an outdoor activity, and equipment (Helmet, gloves, ski, goggles, face warmer) is perfectly in line with social distancing.In some public spaces, capacity may be reduced. Wearing a mask is compulsory for everyone aged 11 and over.

Access to the resort by public transport

Wearing a face mask is compulsory before boarding and while on the bus.

Ski lifts

  • Wearing a face mask is compulsory while queuing and on the ski lifts.
  • Contact points are thoroughly cleaned on a daily basis.
  • No restrictions on the number of people on the ski lifts.
  • On some ski lifts, you may not have to wear a mask (check ski lift guidelines).
  • No masks on the slopes

In equipment hire shops

  • Wearing a face mask is compulsory.
  • All hired equipment is thoroughly cleaned.
  • Hand sanitising gel is made available.

In tourist offices and your accommodation

  • Wearing a face mask is compulsory in all communal and enclosed spaces.
  • Hand sanitising gel is made available.
  • All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, with increased frequency.

In bars and restaurants

  • Table service only.
  • Table distance a minimum of 1 metre apart, or fixed or removable panels to ensurephysical distancing.
  • Guests must wear a face mask when walking around the premises.Hand sanitising gel is available.
  • All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, with increased frequency.

At ski schools

  • Wearing a face mask is compulsory when gathering at the beginning and end of class, for everyone aged 11 and over.
  • No restrictions on the number of people at ski classes.
  • In public indoor spaces:• Wearing a face mask is compulsory for everyone aged 11 and over.• Hand sanitising gel is available.• All surfaces are thoroughly cleaned.
  • All hired equipment is thoroughly cleaned
